Manuscript Collections, Collections

The collection consists of slides and photocopies of approximately 80 post-World War II photographs collected by Heyward Shealey, a U.S. serviceman. Images show locations in Berlin, some with damage from the war, and other European locations where Shealey traveled while on furlough, including London.

On-site Reading Room Services will be temporarily suspended from 6/16/25 through 6/27/25 as we work to upgrade climate control systems in the archives to better preserve our collections. If you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out - virtual Services are available!
